Popeye and Spinach

Everyone knows about Popeye the Sailorman [maybe not everyone...]
and how he gains superhuman strength by gulping down a giant can of spinach, many people think that it was inspired by the faulty information of spinach's iron content.

In 1870 E. von Wolf, a german scientist misplaced a decimal point, a mistake which led people to think that spinach had ten times more iron then it actually had! It took about sixty years for people to notice this mistake and fix it.

Other sources however believe that Popeye's spinach was inspired by the high vitamin A content, whatever it is, Spinach can't be bad for you, or can it?

Spinach is said to be one of the most heavily pesticide contaiminated vegetables.

It would seem like Organic is the best to go.

On Nintendium

Nintendium is an internet joke about Nintendo, the famous Video Game console manufacturing company in Japan, it is about how the consoles are created out of a mythical metal that is tougher and harder then any other known material, this joke probably came in existance thanks to the some-what famous Gulf War Gameboy. It had survived when the barracks it was in was bombed, and amazingly, still worked...

Contributing to it is the fact that nintendo software is generally -really- -really- hard to break, my father and I had tried to break apart a old Nintendo Gamecube once, using a hammer and chisel to try and break it in half, half an hour later, all we could do is break the lid off, and break the vents... it stood up to every single of our powerful pounds.

Whatever nintendo does... they make their stuff tough.

While Nintendium may not be real and be a complete joke [funny in my opinion.] one could call it a somewhat truth-based joke seeing how insanely durable those things seem to be.
